            <description><![CDATA[Vinh Long Delta Productions, in conjunction with the staff at Actual Sound Studios in LaCrosse, Wisconsin are in the preliminary stages of tranferring and editing the May 22nd Benefit Concert performance on behalf of the Veterans National Recovery Center Project from the 4th Street Theatre in Des Moines, Iowa. The goal is a one hour plus DVD with 5.1 digital sound quality from a single camera of the best songs and between song rapport with the veteran tunesmith and that receptive audience.<br />     Release date is set for early summer of 2012.]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[Our veteran tunesmith is closing in on completing the lengthiest chapter of his personal narrative/MEMOIR - "The TUNESMITH CHRONICLES: { A Musical HISTORY TOUR / with a couple of zones thrown in} " When this chapter that addresses the 1971 forced suicide of Medal of Honor recipient Dwight Johnson, the Civil Rights movement and the riots that occurred nationwide from 1965 to 1971, readers will get a heretofore untold insight into the atmosphere surrounding the return of our nation's Vietnam veterans.<br />     One of the author's goal is to complete his own journey retracing how history that he witnessed up close and personal with the reactionaries, radicals and reformers led to the recognition of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the Veterans Administration establishing a national chain of counseling facilities outside their hospital system called the Vet Centers and official rating as a genuine mental health condition by the national boards of American Psychiatry & Psychology.<br />      The author's goal is 400 pages and by the end of the "Motown's Lost Hero" chapter, should be close to 310. A spring 2012 1st private printing from 1st Aviation Publishing, a subsidiary of Vinh Long Delta Surplus Productions is tentatively scheduled in oversize paperback form.]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[The National Veterans Recovery Center Project's inaugural benefit concert was held @ the 4th Street Theatre in downtown Des Moines, Iowa on May 21st.<br />   The NVRC wants to convert the old Knoxville VA Hospital facility into a world class holistic PTSD treatment center.<br />  While the concert was not a sell out, the attendees were all enthused by the performance and the NVRC wants to continue to work with veteran tunesmith for future concerts @ Iowa universities.]]></description>
